Congratulations to Dallas Mustangs 8th – 2nd Annual Big Ball Classic Champions

Written by Rickey Rivers

This past weekend the 2nd seed of Funsport’s growth was planted in South Dallas at the Park South YMCA. The event sponsored by Under Armour showed a lot of promise to the plans and growth for 2016. We had “Big Horse” commentating the games this year along with full game statistics being tracked by Scoop. We witnessed a Dallas Mustangs 8th grade team destroy the competition while others competed in their first Funsport experience. The Dallas Mustangs have some talented kids in their program led by Devin Kiner, Tyrone Pratt, Sterling Hopkins, and Jerry Carraway. I also like the toughness from 7th graders Anthony Adams and Misiel Teklai. It was a great weekend and we started the preparation for our 3rd Annual Big Ball Classic on April 29, 2016. Next year will feature a NYC team and a big increase in talent. Take a look at the images from this past weekend along with game stats from each game below.
