The Champions – Liberation Diploma Plus High School

Liberation Diploma Plus is a small intimate transfer school in Coney Island Brooklyn (2865 West 19th Street – Brooklyn, NY). The school has ten teachers serving a population of 150 older students who have accumulated a few credits towards graduation. Liberation does a better job than most transfer schools in getting students to graduate and go on to college, according to DOE statistics. The basketball team won the PSAL title in only its 3rd season operating led by the Funsport staff. We play non-league games against junior colleges giving players the exposure and experience for the next level. Being that Funsport is Under Armour sponsored, our student-athletes get the benefit of wearing the best gear on court. The PSAL awarded us with medals and a banner. The athletes were given Under Armour shoes, jackets, sweatsuits, bags, and rings (contingent on graduation). If you are reading this and know a kid who needs this kind of atmosphere to graduate while enjoying playing in a winning atmosphere, please contact Rickey Rivers at info@funsportinc.com.
